Get Your Ex Back: Control Emotions

A very common side effect of any breakup is anger. You may
be at angry with yourself, with your ex, your ex's friends
or your friends. Anyone that you feel interfered with or
contributed to the breakup. This anger can come become
deep-seated and have a very negative affect on you and on
your chances of getting your ex back.

Allowing yourself to be overcome by anger and jealousy will
only do you harm.

When you are angry you are likely to do things that will put
an end to any chance you have of getting your ex back.

So now, before you even start working toward getting your ex
back, calm yourself. Make a conscious effort to rid yourself
of any anger, bitterness or resentment you feel toward
anyone involved in the situation, including, and most of
all, yourself.

You may find this difficult. The running dialog that most of
us have in out minds is not always easy to control. Try
these simple techniques to get your thoughts under control.

Don't give negative thoughts any room

Although it seems simple, this works. Refuse to allow
negative thoughts any room in your head. As they appear in
your mind just move them straight back out again. Give this
some time and negative thoughts will start to disappear.

Speak With A Higher Force

It can be very helpful to humbly ask whatever spiritual
force you understand to exist to please help you to calm
your mind. I have found in my life that prayer will do
nothing to help you win the lottery but it is very helpful
when you ask for emotional guidance.

Try Meditation

Try thinking no thoughts at all. Sit quietly and let any
thought that enter your mind simply flow out again. Practice
this and it can be very calming.

Try Exercise

Get outside or to the gym and get your heart rate up. Do any
kind of exercise, walking, running, swimming, squash, that
needs some concentration and works up a sweat. You'll find
that with exercise it will not only be easier to control
your thought, you'll sleep better, too.

To have the best possible chance of getting your ex back you
need to be in good emotional shape. If you are angry and
needy your ex won't want to be with you and neither will
anyone else. Take control of your thought and you are taking
the first necessary step toward getting your ex back into
your life.
